PC Anytime Newsletter.

We have been putting out a semi-regular newsletter now for 12 years. Our first newsletter was snail-mailed out to just 90 clients and because of its growing popularity, our last snail-mail newsletter went out a few years ago to 2,100 people. As you can imagine, it became a mammoth task, even with the newsletter printed and folded elsewhere, to stuff envelopes and stick stamps. Because we used to always include something in the envelope, like a lollipop or a 'scratch-and-win' card or similar, it used to take four of us two days just to prepare each mail out. While our clients loved receiving it, the newsletter became irregular and just too clumsy and time-consuming to do, so we reluctantly swapped our physical newsletter for a virtual one. This was a mixed blessing, as in our last few hard-copy newsletters we asked those who still wanted to receive it to subscribe to our electronic version and just one-third of people did so. Many clients asked what had happened to the newsletters and when we told them, many claimed not to have seen the subscribe information and so were missing out on the electronic version. Since then, we encourage clients to sign themselves and their friends up to receive our newsletters (and virus-alert and similar security bulletins) and if you don't already receive them, you are also welcome to sign up and get them delivered free to your inbox.

Recently, for spam and customer satisfaction reasons, we have moved away from sending plain-text newsletters and emails in favour of PDF versions downloadable from this site. Please click on the link to download the latest newsletter. Please note you'll need some sort of PDF viewing software installed in order to view it. Most people use Adobe Reader because it was pre-installed on their machines, though we recommend Foxit Reader, which is much smaller and faster. However, like all good freeware, there is a catch; please be aware that it has extras bundled with it and the installation may change your current search provider. This stuff does NOT need to be installed for Foxit to function properly, it is simply a way they generate revenue. Please choose the 'custom' option when installing and uncheck those options you do not want.

Download Newsletters - Please click on an issue to open. The latest issue is always at the top of the list.

Note: Some browsers are set up to open PDF files within the browser. If you want to download the PDF file to read later, simply right-click on the desired link and choose "save link as" (or similar) from the resulting menu.)
